There are two times [i.e., seasons] in the year in our country: the rainy season and the cold season. Some years, rainy season is longer than cold season. But such years are not numerous. Cold season starts after rainy season. Cold season starts with the really cold period, in December and January. Once that time has passed, the hot sunny period starts, man. Many people go off traveling [for money] during the cold season. But some [people] do field work [i.e., farming] in the cold season as well. They cut [down some part of the] forest. They make [farming] fields and wait for the rainy season. Some sow [seeds]. Many people do handy work and home projects during the cold season.
