Ngɔlɔ is a hunter. He goes and wanders in the bush every day. He knows [wild] animals well. He is good at hunting [Lit. "He is able at hunter-dom"]. He has a lot of fresh meat in his home.

Salifu ye gesedala ye. Baara ka ca à bolo. Fajiri fɛ, à bɛ geseda daminɛ. À tɛ baara dabila fo fitiri. À bɛ dali kɛ ni gaari ye. Gaari bɛ bɔ kɔɔri la.

Salifu is a weaver. He has a lot of work. At dawn, he starts weaving. He doesn't stop work until dusk. He does weaving with thread. The thread comes from cotton.

Amadu is a leather worker. He works leather to make shoes and sacks. He cuts the leather and sews it and fastens it. If a hole forms in a sack of yours, he can sew it. He spends the day at his workplace next to the main market.

Musa is a blacksmith. He works metal to make knife blades, farming hoe blades and axe blades. He makes their handles with wood [Lit. "tree"]. If your gun breaks, he can fix it, but he doesn't like "their" repairing because it's difficult.

Solo is a fisher. Many fishers are Bozo [an ethnicity]. Solo too is Bozo. He fishes fish with a net. He doesn't fish with a hook/line. When he catches a fish, his wife goes and sells it at the market. Solo spends his day in his canoe on the river.

Umaru is a shepard [Lit. "cow-chase-er"]. Many shepards are Fula/Fulani [an ethnicity]. They know cows better than all. If you get a cow, you entrust it to Umaru. He spends the day of every day in the bush with is cattle.
